We are looking for a Wellbeing Manager to join us on a 14-month FTC.

Job Purpose

To support the delivery of the M&S People Plan through:

  • Supporting the Head of Reward to design, implement and embed the wellbeing strategy
  • Partnering the business and HRBPs as subject matter authority on wellbeing matters

Handling M&S wellbeing policies and associated benefits linked to physical and mental health

Key accountabilities & responsibilities
  • Supporting the Head of Reward to design, implement and deliver the wellbeing strategy for M&S in line with relevant budgets
  • Working with HR colleagues as the subject matter authority on wellbeing matters, including benefits to support physical and mental health, identifying efficiencies and improvements wherever possible
  • Ownership of wellbeing policies, as specified by the Head of Reward, and responding to policy queries raised from business
  • Leading and/or supporting on HR projects as required
  • Managing third-party suppliers to deliver services in line with agreed SLAs
  • Keeping up-to-date with best practice and emerging trends through effective external relationships

Coaching Wellbeing Consultant (where relevant) to provide the best possible grounding in wellbeing at M&S

Key experience
  • Effective relationship management and ability to influence senior partners
  • Knowledge of the latest wellbeing trends
  • High quality verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, ideally with experience of leading projects
  • Experience of policy ownership
  • An excellent team player with an encouraging mentoring style
  • Experience of designing and delivering training (desirable)
  • Advanced Powerpoint skills (desirable)
  • Degree and/or CIPD qualified (desirable)
