Everyone is welcome at M&S. No exceptions. It’s your background, abilities and differences that make you, uniquely you. And when you’re part of M&S, that individuality has the potential to make waves.
This section tells you all you need to know about the position and its responsibilities, outlining everything we hope to see in a successful candidate.
To stay close to our customers and colleagues, our support teams are in the office for at least three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
As a Junior Merchandiser working across all international online channels, you will play a key role in driving the growth and profitability of M&S international websites and digital marketplaces, including platforms such as Amazon and Zalando. Working at the heart of a fast-paced, commercial team, you will take ownership of planning and trading activity, managing stock across our international websites and marketplace channels. You will maintain and re-forecast the WSSI, manage sales budgets and OTB, analyse seasonal buys and turn weekly trading data into clear actions. In close partnership with the Merchandiser and teams across trading, partnerships, logistics, digital and international markets, you will influence channel decisions, optimise stock and sales, and help deliver the commercial plan while maintaining exceptional brand standards.
This role is ideal for an experienced merchandising professional who combines strong commercial judgement with advanced analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. You will be confident managing stock across international websites and digital marketplaces, working with WSSI, MFP, OTB and channel-led metrics, and translating complex performance data into clear recommendations. Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills will help you challenge constructively, manage competing priorities and guide Assistant Merchandisers while supporting consistent, efficient ways of working.
NB This is a full-time role based at our Paddington Support Office a minimum of three days a week.
