Working Pattern:
Friday: 06:00-15:00
Saturday: 14:00-18:00
Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant on our exciting new Fresh counters, where you’ll serve delicious, freshly prepared Deli Foods to our customers in our larger stores. We’re seeking passionate individuals who take pride in providing excellent customer service and have a love for food.
You’ll be a brand ambassador, engaging with customers and recommending hot food options. Your remarkable service will ensure they feel valued, and leave satisfied every time they visit.
At M&S, our customers don’t wait. You’ll be ready to roll up your sleeves, handle hot food safely, and go above and beyond to deliver quality service every day.
Being digitally confident is essential. You’ll use our in-store tools to process orders efficiently, ensuring customers get the food they want, when they want it.
Being a team player is crucial. You'll work with your colleagues to maintain high standards on the hot food counters, supporting the overall operation and creating a great inclusive store environment.
Flexibility is also vital. You should be confident to work across different areas of the food service, adapting to the fast-paced and ever-changing demands of the hot food counter.

Purpose
To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, we are looking for colleagues who put customers before tasks every time whilst championing and promoting our brilliant products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us to continually improve.
Key Accountabilities
· Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
· Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with product
· Monitor and deliver on the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
· Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store.
· Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
· We’ll give you the training to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time
