This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the highest priority transformational programmes in Marks and Spencer’s Food Group. The Lowering Costs Programme has been set up to reduce the cost base of the end- to-end business to unlock efficiencies and allow strategic investments into the future of Foods. We are looking for a Value Optimisation Manager (V/O) who is able to identify and deliver value to the business quickly. The successful candidate will work as part of a central team which includes another V/O Manager tasked with ensuring these savings are delivered. The role is broad and strategic, with huge exposure to both internal and external partners. The role has clear accountability for delivery of savings across the Fresh Food Sector. The role will provide great insight into how a Food retailer works from end to end and will provide exposure into the costs from farm to fork.
