To stay close to customers, we expect our support teams to come into the office at least 3 three days a week. We think that learning comes from working alongside each other, and that spending time with our teams makes us more creative and connected. It also means we can solve problems as soon as they arise, build trust, and get closer to our colleagues.

What you’ll do

You will lead the creation and curation of menswear content, work closely with our in-house creative teams, manage influencer and ambassador partnerships, and oversee the launch of a dedicated menswear social channel. This role requires someone with a sharp eye for fashion—particularly menswear—strong editorial instincts, and an understanding of what engages audiences across platforms.

Your key accountabilities will include…

  • Content Creation & Curation. Develop and execute a menswear-specific social content strategy in line with the broader M&S brand and marketing objectives. Collaborate with our creative team to produce platform-specific content. Edit, write, and oversee the creation of all menswear social content, ensuring high quality, relevancy, and alignment with tone of voice.
  • Channel & Campaign Management. Launch and manage a new dedicated menswear social media account. Monitor performance and optimise content based on engagement, reach, and platform best practices.
  • Influencer & Ambassador Partnerships. Identify, brief, and manage relationships with fashion influencers and brand ambassadors who align with our menswear positioning. Oversee content delivery, contract negotiation, and performance reporting.
  • Shoot Support & Production. Attend and contribute to creative shoots for social-first menswear content. Ensure the production of assets fit for platform and aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Events & Activations. Lead planning and execution of menswear-focused events and brand activations across digital and in-person touchpoints.
  • Stakeholder & Team Collaboration. Work cross-functionally with buying, merchandising, creative, PR, digital, and e-commerce teams. Line manage an Assistant Social Media Manager, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

Who you are
Your skills and experience will include…

  • Proven experience in a similar level role (Lead/Senior Manager) within a fashion, lifestyle, or retail brand—menswear experience essential.
  • A strong creative background with experience briefing, producing, and editing social-first content.
  • Experience launching and growing social media accounts, with a deep understanding of content formats and platform-specific best practices (especially Instagram and TikTok).
  • Demonstrated success in influencer marketing and brand collaborations.
  • A leader and team player with exceptional project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date with fashion, pop culture, and social media trends, with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
