Everyone is welcome at M&S. No exceptions. It’s your background, abilities and differences that make you, uniquely you. And when you’re part of M&S, that individuality has the potential to make waves.
This section tells you all you need to know about the position and its responsibilities, outlining everything we hope to see in a successful candidate.
To stay close to our customers and colleagues, our support teams are in the office for at least three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded development manager who is confident working through complexity and bringing others with them. The successful candidate will shape the network strategy pipeline and integrated change roadmap, using data, modelling and insight to build strong business cases and influence future investment decisions. Working closely with Business Units, 3PLs, Operational Leads and design and engineering teams, they will help define the future operating model, align partners around the plan and make sure approved changes move smoothly from concept into delivery.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a credible, curious and influential leader to challenge thinking, drive continuous improvement and help create a supply chain network that delivers for our customers and the future of M&S!
NB: The role will be based from one of our Logistics hubs, Bradford, Castle Donington, Welham Green or our Waterside Support Centre dependent on the successful candidate’s location. This role will involve regular travel to sites across the country.
