This section tells you all you need to know about the position and its responsibilities, outlining everything we hope to see in a successful candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your main focus will be to influence the design of HVAC and refrigeration solutions from the outset, working closely with teams to set innovative standards for M&S building services.
Influence design reviews and technical signoff, challenging lifecycle cost, maintainability, access, and projected energy performance.
Ensure flawless project handover through high-quality commissioning, accurate asset tagging, and robust O&M documentation aligned with FM requirements.
Build and manage a rolling remediation plan addressing defects, obsolescence, safety risks, and system criticality, embedding permanent fixes through root cause investigations.
Set technical standards and operational procedures for FM partners (including City FM), verifying delivery through audits, data insights, and governance of major repairs, changeovers, spares, and warranty recovery.
Drive energy and performance optimisation by partnering with the Energy Efficiency Manager to identify high ROI interventions and analysing system performance (kWh/m², load profiles, runtimes) to deliver targeted improvements.
