As Assistant Buyer you will manage category sales and profit in line with operating plan budgets, driving market share performance. Future proofing sourcing at M&S developing a procurement plan that is fit for purpose delivering fantastic quality. Working as part of a cross functional team of experts to delivery category objectives.
Drawing on your experience you’ll demonstrate an understanding of financial risks and identify opportunities. You’ll confidently build relationships with suppliers working together to deliver the M&S strategy.
Apply if you have;
- Commercial experience within the food industry, with real passion for food.
- A proven track record of being able to analyse and interpret market and customer data to inform commercial decisions
- Good reporting skills with the ability to manage and organise data
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), able to communicate effectively to influence and articulate complex technical information to regional and present briefs confidently
- Strong Microsoft skills - Word / PowerPoint / Excel etc.
