Get the edge your future needs.

M&S is setting a quicker pace in a revolutionary time for retail. Our internships put you in the perfect position to see the exciting places this industry is heading, and develop the professional skills that will take your CV to the top of the pile. Best of all, it will test your instincts for creating a future that’s far different from today – whether that’s in fashion, food or elsewhere in retail.

What we look for in you

We need innovation that sees past the latest and greatest products. Sustainability that thinks way beyond recyclable packaging. Even though you’ll only be with us for a matter of weeks, you’ll have plenty of chances to impress us with your ideas.

Internships are designed to give you a proper taste of some key areas at M&S. But if we like what we see, we can invite you to join us on a more in-depth graduate programme or business placement. And these often lead to accelerated careers in the profession you end up falling in love with.

Why I chose M&S

My first experience of M&S was via my Food Technology internship following my first year at University. Getting the chance to work on the confectionary team to perfect the consistency of a gummy sweet was a dream first project! These kinds of experiences gave me a real taste of the breadth of projects at M&S and lead me to return on a business placement and then a graduate scheme where I’m currently gaining exposure to a variety of other categories across the food group.

Our roles will go live in Autumn 2021.

Changing times often decide which internships we run, so when the time is right, take a look at what’s available. If you find your ideal programme, please apply – but if not, be sure to check back and see if we’ve added anything else.
